Recently I was directing a play in which the female character ends up performing a provocative dance (in her underwear) for a cop who's investigating her....we wanted the female character to feel empowered and not humiliated by this.........the actress and I went to Showgirls to see if we could get an idea........we came away from there feeling depressed and disappointed......I remembered Christie (an actress) now had a pole dancing company and called her to see if she could help. Christie came into our next rehearsal and with her knowledge and expertise the results that she achieved with the actress, in just under an hour were astonishing. Not only did the actress now feel empowered during her dance, but she had a greater understanding of her character and the play moved forward....thank you Christie!  Michelle Vance-Hehir, Edmonton
